Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is a base oil and is considered the liquid "wax". It comes from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis, which is a plant found in dry areas and can grow up to 5.5 meters. The name comes from the word "Hohowi", which was used by Native Americans to describe the plant's seeds. The Native Americans were the first to discover the beneficial properties of the Jojoba oil and used it on both hair and skin. Its use continued in the 18th century where it was used to treat wounds and burns, but also as an emollient.

The rapid use of Jojoba oil took place in the 1970s. Its hypoallergenic properties, combined with its high levels of minerals, vitamins and Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids make it extremely beneficial for all skin types and hair. On the skin it creates a shield of protection and hydration, while on the hair it regulates their oiliness and softens them.
Its composition is very similar to the composition of sebum, for this reason it is considered ideal for regulating oiliness on the skin of the face. In addition, the comedogenic ratio of Jojoba oil is 2, so it makes it ideal for use even on oily, sensitive or acne prone skin.
